2025 Saskatchewan Book Awards - Call for Entries and General Submission Guidelines
The SBA offers up to 14 annual or semi-annual awards to celebrate, promote and reward Saskatchewan authors and publishers worthy of recognition. Of the 14 awards offered by the SBA, 12 are awarded annually and two awards are offered in alternate years. Le Prix du livre français, offered biennially in odd number years, will be awarded again in 2025. The Young Adult Literature Award and the Children’s Literature Award are offered annually but in alternating years. The Young Literature Award, last awarded in 2023, will again be awarded in 2025. The Children’s Literature Award last awarded in May 2024 will not be awarded until May 2026.
Saskatchewan Book Awards looks forward to receiving your submissions for the 2025 award season. In 2025, pending sponsorship, the following Awards (14) will be presented at the Saskatchewan Book Awards Annual Gala and Award Ceremony in Saskatoon on May 2, 2025.:

Submissions for the 2025 Saskatchewan Book Awards will be accepted starting Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The deadline for submissions is no later than Friday, November 1, 2024 at 5:00 pm.
Be sure to check the eligibility requirements for each award entered. Except for two awards presented biennially (i.e., Le prix du livre français and the Young Adult Literature Award), books submitted for adjudication this year must meet SBA's eligibility criteria and have been published between November 1, 2023, and October 31, 2024. For the two awards presented biennially in 2025 , the publication date for books considered for Le Prix du livre français and the Young Adult Literature Award falls between November 1, 2022, and October 31, 2024. The Children’s Literature Award (awarded biennially), last awarded in May 2024, will not be offered again until 2026.
