Alison Lohans has written for her entire life and was first published at the age of 12. From 1980 on, her books for young people and short works in multiple, diverse genres have been published regularly across the decades. She has won multiple awards, not only for her books, but also for her short fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and academic nonfiction.
