100 Days of Cree

About the Book

What happens when you combine social media with the most widely spoken Indigenous language in Canada? You get Cree translations of Star Wars, "double-double," and the buffalo hunt--and the opportunity to see the world in another way. Based on a series of Facebook posts, 100 Days of Cree demonstrates why this funny, vibrant, and sometimes salacious language is the "sexiest" of them all.

About the Author

Of Cree and Swedish ancestry, Neal McLeod grew up on the James Smith Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. He is an educator, a poet, a painter, and the editor of Indigenous Poetics in Canada.
