SASKATCHEWAN BOOK AWARDS is pleased to announce that author and journalist, PAMELA WALLIN will be the guest speaker for our 10th Anniversary Awards Gala. The gala will be held on Saturday, November 30 at the Saskatchewan Centre of the Arts, Regina.

Marking CANADA BOOK DAY, April 23, the Saskatchewan Book Awards is displaying our complete collection of award winning books in the rotunda of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building.

This collection is an impressive overview of the talent and diversity of Saskatchewan authors and publishers. Books by such authors as Bonnie Burnard, Guy Vanderhaeghe, Anne Szumigalski and Arthur Slade have gone on to win Governor General's Awards.

Canada's literary magazine, "Quill & Quire" rates Saskatchewan Book Awards as "...arguably the best-run writers' event outside of Toronto's Giller Prize."
