It's been an incredible year at the Saskatchewan Book Awards. We celebrated excellence once again at our 23rd Awards Ceremony in April, participated in twelve readings over the course of the year, went to two major festivals, and held our very first BrunchRaiser. Thank you for contributing to our organization by attending our events and supporting Saskatchewan's amazing authors and publishers.
You can continue to show your support for Saskatchewan authors and publishers this Giving Tuesday (November 29th) by buying their books from your local bookseller or by making a donation to our organization. Visit the Awards link above and check out the previous shortlists and winners to guide you in making a book purchase. If you would like to donate to our organization, click on the button on the right to be taken to our Canada Helps page. You can donate by credit card, Interac online, or Paypal, and they'll issue your charitable tax receipt right away! If you would prefer to make a donation by cheque, you can mail it to our office at 315-1102 8th Ave, Regina, SK S4R 1C9 and we'll send you a charitable donation receipt through the mail.
Your tax-deductible donation will help ensure that SBA continues to recognize, reward and promote the work of Saskatchewan authors and publishers. Your donation makes a difference to their lives and work, provides economic benefits to the province, and supports the overall cultural life in Saskatchewan.
We continue to look for new sponsors to partner with in the New Year. Please contact our office or check out our sponsorship page if you're interested in learning more about our current sponsorship opportunities. We're in the process of adding some new options (entertainment sponsor, photographer sponsor, etc) to our sponsorship package, so please get in touch if you're interested in working with us on a customized sponsorship opportunity!
You can look forward to another great year in 2017, beginning on Thursday, February 9th with the Shortlist Announcement in Regina and Saskatoon. The Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more updates.
Thank you again for your generous support.
Best wishes for the holidays,
